2017-2018 Student Survey for 12th Grade ROP Students ONLY for ALL ROP Classes  (Seniors)

2017-2018 Student Survey for ALL ROP Classes EVERYONE!  Juniors and Seniors!

ALL students, including seniors should be completing the 2017-2018 Student Survey for ALL ROP Classes .  

Additionally, ONLY the seniors should be completing the 2017-2018 Student Survey for 12th Grade ROP Students for All ROP Classes.  The surveys will be shared with me after all surveys have been completed.


GHS, LHS, AVHS - I will see you on Tuesday 5/29 for regular class time.  DHS- see you at 3:00!

GRADUATION CEREMONY on 5/29!  PM class helping with set up at 3:00 and I need help afterward for about 30 minutes - parents can come at 5:15 or 5:30.  For graduation on 5/29, it's okay for ladies to wear their hair down, but be sure it is styled.  Wear your uniform, no badge necessary. Look sharp!  Thank you.

Welcome to Your Last Week of Internship!

Hello Everyone,

A bittersweet time, I know. Be sure to thank your sites and please let them know ROP will be in touch about a student or students next year coming their way.

Graduation for Medical Occupations is a week from tomorrow!  Have your uniforms ready and please, let me know about site personnel attending.  Thank you!!  It will be a wonderful evening. There are a lot of plans in place.

DONATIONS NEEDED:  Please have a parent text me if they are able to send with you, or bring to graduation, one or two cases of bottled water.  Thank you.

Regarding GHS and LHS this week - I am in the classroom for P2 and P3 except for Thursday, 5/24. I will be in an ROP planning meeting 5/24.  I'll be here tomorrow, 5/22 - Wed. 5/23 of course and Friday, 5/25.  Please be sure to have your TIME SHEET(S) signed and...

TURN IN the 5/14 and 5/21 time sheets on 5/23 OR 5/30.  No need to text me a photo.  This will help those going to Disneyland.

If for any reason you do not go to site this week, and I do not have a note in advance from you, please contact me via text.

PLEASE complete the following online survey TONIGHT so my supervisor at Tri-Valley ROP does not have to remind us  - let's be the first class to finish this!!  I have a sign-in sheet for you to fill in with the date you completed the survey.  5/21 works!

Regarding Graduation 5/29 - Please ask your parents if they will donate one case of bottled water.  We need about 15 cases, so whatever you can do.  That's all we need for now.  I will keep you posted!

Wow...Internship almost done!

Hi Everyone,

For many of you, Tuesday, 5/22 will be your last full day of internship.  Please write out a message on the card I gave you today as well as anything else you want to do for your site. 
Remember.....
it's YOUR effort and commitment to this program, as well as the support our sites, that makes Medical Occupations successful!!!  THANK YOU Interns!

Regarding invites to graduation - please remind site personnel they may arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 or at 7:00 to meet with us after the ceremony.  If they come for the entire ceremony, there may only be standing room, but it won't be for too long. I am so happy that some want to come to the graduation!

For those of you still interested, I will be inviting all students that would like to help me at lunch on Wednesday 5/16 or during the afternoon to earn CC hours.

Congratulations to Med Occs Interns Pranavi Dulam and Melia Miller - winners of the Stanford ValleyCare Auxiliary Scholarship.  They were both awarded $4,000.00 scholarships.

Pranavi is headed to Emory University and Melia to U.C. Davis.

Thank you for being the wonderful people you are.  Looks like yesterday went well.  The substitute was impressed with you...I expected that.

1. Thanks to those who brought in their money, but for those that did not, please bring $5 cash Wednesday 
     5/16 for  your Med Occs graduation cord. I've prepaid for you.

6. There will be a no pressure, open book anatomy test for the purpose of reviewing anatomy 5/16

7. Is your final student evaluation ready?  Bring to me in a sealed, signed envelope.  Due 5/16

8. Testing schedules are varied throughout the districts.  I need, in writing, absence notifications if
    you are going to miss site or classroom time.

9. CC Hours: Please see me if your log shows anything less than 160, up to and including 5/11/18.
