Good Luck Interns! You'll Be Great!

Hello Everyone,

First of all, this is the season of gratitude and Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  I am so happy that all of you were able to acknowledge each other and give praise for all the great things that make you....you!  I am grateful for all of you, that's for sure!

AM Class - The patient education skits were great!  AM and PM were great and I am so proud of you.  I am confident that you will all do very well at site.

Text me with any questions you have about site (include your name) - just text between 7am and 7pm.  Thanks!!!

ALL KAISER INTERNS - Please try this again.  If you have trouble, text me and I'll contact Mr. Chan.  Try different browsers and don't forget to hit "apply".
From Mr. Ariel Chan, Volunteer Services
He is starting a new volunteer database program and would like to ask all of the students to click on the following website to set up their accounts and complete their profiles:

He would like for all students to complete their profiles over their break before they meet with him for orientation on Monday, November 27.  Do this right away so we don't have to bug you.  Thanks.

Kaiser Interns:  Please journal everything during orientation and write down questions as well so you can be very interactive.  EVERYONE wear your scrubs.  (That goes for ALL sites).

INTERNSHIP REMINDERS:

1. Do not change into your scrubs in your car or at site!  Be sure to change in the restroom at school or wear your scrubs.  Be sure to have your badge with you at all times.  Look sharp!  No wrinkled, smelly scrubs for us!  Shower and have fabulous hair too.  Follow the rules on the competency quiz.

2. Check the blog every day starting 11/26.  Even if there is not a new post, read the current post and check every evening please!!!  Some of you have failed to look and it causes big problems for me, the site and eventually, you!

3. Take only your CC binder, Key(s), Pad/Pen into your site every day.  I don't want any of your things lost or misplaced. Give your supervisor /staff your thank you note on your first day. Kaiser, you can wait until Thursday 11/30 due to orientation.

4.  Have a fabulous experience and remember to journal daily.  I can't wait to hear about your first few
days!

Take care and have a great holiday week.  You deserve it.  See you on WEDNESDAY, 11/29!

Ms. Erceg
