As we get closer to our goal of being super interns and prepared for internship, I need your utmost cooperation. We, the Med Occs Team, must do all we can to ensure a positive and seamless transition from full-time classroom to community classroom. The process of creating this transition is multi-layered, detailed and at times, frustrating. I'll need you to be extra cautious and communicate well, as I need your help to make this all work. Thank you from your internship coordinator/teacher.
Your site assignments, badges and uniforms will be given to you within the next few weeks. Once you know your specialty area, you will study not only the specialty, but the facility/organization as well. Anticipating the need is paramount to your success as an intern, and I will be your support system. Remember, you will all be amazing, competent interns that produce an enthusiastic invite for next year's students!

Though the training and discussion of suicide can be intense for some, this is a wonderful way to have free training and learning empathic responses in addition to building a resume.
