Rolling with the Punches

Hello All,

You know what?  Sometimes life throws a curve at you and remember, it's not what happens to you, it's how you handle it.  Well, here's an example.

There has been an unanticipated change for GHS and LHS schedules for Wednesday.

Due to several requests and a special schedule for Wednesday, 4/18, I am extending the due date for the portfolio and informational interview to the following Wednesday, 4/25/18.

I will not be collecting the portfolios or the informational interviews from the AM class until 4/25/18.

I will extend the same courtesy to the PM class regarding the due date of 4/25.  LHS, DHS and AVHS will be in attendance on the normal schedule in the afternoon on 4/18.

PM class, you are welcome to turn in your portfolio and informational interview on 4/18 when you arrive for class, or you may wait until 4/25.

p.s.  4/25 is the Medical Occupations Orientation for parents and 18/19 students at GHS.  VOLUNTEERS: Please wear your uniform and women, please be sure to have your hair up in some way. We must look professional. I will be assigning special duties and speakers from various sites to present a one-minute speech with name, school, internship site and a few words about the experience in Med Occs.  The speech will end with your best advice for the students applying to the program. I truly appreciate you assisting, as this event is critical to the program getting off to a great start!
