Our guest speaker, Casey Potts, said he would come back for the a.m. class. He was very interesting and gave us a lot of information EMT, Paramedic and Firefighter careers. I have some handouts for the a.m. class.

HOMEWORK THIS WEEK:
1. Keep your RAOK handout front and center. I cannot wait to see what kind of impact 58 people have x10!!! (59 including me)
2. Make sure you have your flash cards with you 2/7!!! Use your MT Book and keep making your cards from the appendices. Thank you all who brought yours in already!
3. Please take this quiz so you be part of an important discussion on healthy relationships:
http://www.loveisrespect.org/for-someone-else/is-my-relationship-healthy-quiz/
If you are not currently in a romantic relationship, base your answers on a previous relationship or a platonic relationship with a friend.
4. At your site this week and next: If you are not already doing so, ask if you can take incoming calls or make outgoing calls on behalf of your office or facility. Please write in your journal what is said when the phone is answered. When putting someone on hold, Please do not say "Hold on." Instead, say "Would you please hold for a moment?"....wait for the answer. Then let the caller know you'll be right with them. Don't take too long getting back on the line!
I have a request. Please honor it.
Please, when I am addressing the class, please do not talk to your neighbor. I'm feelin' dissed. If you have a comment or question, please raise your hand. You already know that it is a great life skill to be able to listen intently. I respect all of you and I expect it in return. I will appreciate you working very hard on this and please understand that a little self-discipline can go a very long way. Let's keep the classroom a place that is conducive to learning and not one that has a teacher nagging you. I have never had a disciplinary problem with any of you. Let's not start now. I thank you in advance and the class thanks you.
I'll see you out there at your sites!!! Keep up the good work. Stay strong!
Take care!
Mrs. Erceg
