Take a family member's pulse tonight and practice approaching the patient gently, graciously and professionally. Introduce yourself and get permission to proceed.
We learned today about what may be of concern if the patient has an abnormal pulse rate or rhythm.
Reminders and Homework:

10/2. I walked right into CVS and got mine on Saturday. Call first!!! Make sure they are
ready for you!
2. Wear a short-sleeve shirt tomorrow so we can start practicing blood pressures.
3. Keep tracking your expenses and add in the family expenses too on your tracking sheet. Do this
daily and be ready for our guest speaker on finance Thursday.
