Hi Everyone,

On the CCBMA website, download the application and the exam study guide. Soon, there will be a graded assignment to print both and bring to class. The Med Occs class is very similar to what is on the study guide.  Check out the exam info, the eligibility, etc.  No harm in certifying and having your name followed by CCMA (California Certified Medical Assistant)  Eligibility rules apply.

Reminders:

1. Test coming up on Wednesday 9/20.  That is also the day of the blood drive, so remember to plan
    accordingly. (GHS Blood Drive)  For the test: study your MT book:  Pages 50, 84 and 111.  

2. Do you have a stethoscope?  Do you have a blood pressure cuff?
    If you own one or both, please bring them in tomorrow with your name applied.
    I will store and separate the ones that are "owned" from the ones used in the classroom.  Vital signs     next week!  BP, temperature, pulse and respiration.  TPR

3. Arrrrrrggghhhhhhh.  Would ya be warkin' on yur pie-ret costume Matey?  Talk Like a Pirate Day
    on Tuesday, 9/19.  We'll learn about the health challenges of bein' at sea!

4.  LHS: Have fun tomorrow for those attending Senior Picnic. Be ready to get caught up on     
     Monday!!!
