We had a talk today about internship placement today and thank you for being receptive to the rule...."No Sense of Entitlement." Please know that it will all work out and that your trust in me is paramount to the success of the program. I have your preferences and I will do all I can to create a wonderful internship experience for you. Your answer to your internship assignment...."Thank you, I will go out into the field do a good job for you and make you and Ms. Schreiber proud.....I won't let you down."
Just so you know.... if you are going to be ABSENT or LATE, I must be contacted in advance of the start of class...the sooner the better. Do not be a NO CALL/NO SHOW in this class! If there was a true emergency, exceptions may be made, but all others - don't count on it. Med Occs folks are never absent or late....are they???? Ms. Schreiber says....be here every day!
We are going to practice s t r e t c h i n g on Monday. Strength and flexibility are our muscles favorite friends. Bring in your ideas about how to stretch safely and effectively. Share what you know!
Granada High Students....COIN WARS starts on Monday. This is a great fundraising effort and I'll explain the rules on Monday. For now, know that coins count for positive points, paper for negative points and paper money can potentially sabotage other classroom's efforts!

Have Pets? Something newsworthy....be careful about your pets eating human food. Some of it contains Xylitol, a sugar substitute that animals cannot process. Their liver fails and leads to death. Give pets...pet food. Most all human food is bad for them. All you animal lovers and future veterinary folks know this, right?
